Firestone Walker 2014 Parabola Release March 8th

Firestone Walker has announced the release for 2014 Parabola will be Saturday, March 8th, 2014.

March 8th will be the brewery release with Parabola hitting distribution on the 10th.

2014 Parabola was aged in an array of bourbon barrels from Woodford Reserve, Elijah Craig, Buffalo Trace and Four Roses.

Parabola: Bold bourbon, tobacco and espresso aromas and a hint of American oak greet the nose. Rich, chewy roasted malts, charred oak and bourbon-like vanilla fill the palate and create a seamless finish. A remarkably complex brew that offers a transcendental drinking experience – enjoy with good company.

This year’s Parabola release was aged in an array of barrels from a number of Bourbon producers which held great spirits like Woodford Reserve, Elijah Craig, Buffalo Trace and Four Roses. This year’s Parabola is a massive beer with bold barrel derived character and yet it is the smoothest, most integrated release to date. I never thought of our brewery as a stout house, but this beer makes me smile. The brew team and I are very happy with the results of the barrel aging program; 2014 is going to be a very good year across all of our Proprietor’s Reserve Vintage Series! – Brewmaster Matt Brynildson.
