Allagash, Cantillon & Russian River Wild Friendship Collab Details

Allagash Brewing, Brasserie Cantillon and Russian River Brewing have teamed up to create Wild Friendship.  Wow, just wow.

We first got the idea that a collaboration might be coming when we saw a picture on Facebook of Russian River Sonambic and Allagash Coolship kegs sitting at Cantillon.  Fast forward to the New Year 2014 and Cantillon posts another photo on Facebook that all of our wildest dreams had come true!

Wild Friendship is a blend of 1/3 Allagash Coolship, 1/3 Russian River Sonambic, 1/3 Cantillon Lambic.

Shelton Brother was quick to share the photo and let us know that due to small bottle limits this beer would not be imported to the US for distribution.

“Happy to say that we were able to help make this happen. Unfortunately, there were very, very few bottles made, so you won’t be able to find it stateside… ”

Only to find out from our good friends at Allagash that Cantillon has sent kegs of Lambic to Allagash so a blend of this beer can be done stateside!

The “Wild Friendship” was just blended, bottled and layed down at Brasserie Cantillon. Featuring a 3 year old Cantillon Lambic, 2 1/2 year old Allagash Coolship and a 2 year old Russian River Sonambic this is going to be delicious!

Jean at Cantillon said his goal was to find a balanced link between the 3 beers and “It will be a very good beer for sure”.
