Allagash Brewing Barrel Aged Tiarna Coming Soon

What orginally started as a pilot beer, up next in Allagash Brewing’s barrel aged wild ale series is Tiarna.

Tiarna is a blend of two beers, one aged in oak and fermented with 100% brett and the other fermented in stainless with a blend of two Belgian yeasts. Hopped with hallertau, styrian goldings and cascade hops. The flavor of this tart beer has notes of grapefruit, lemon, and bread crust with a long, dry finish.

Tiarna was labeled yesterday, Dec 12th and will be released soon.  Tiarna will be available in 375ml bottles and weighs in at 7.1%.
